To be attentive to ourselves
And to one another
And to the presence of Christ

May the Lord come and increase our faith.

Prayer of St. John Fisher

God our Father, we gather together at St. John Fisher Parish as the place where you nourish us with the Body and Blood of your Son to prepare us to go our into the world.

As we commit ourselves to the tasks to which we believe you have called us, we bring before you the gifts of time, talent, and treasure you have entrusted to our care. May we, your steward, utilize them prudently and exclusively for your greater glory.

We pray that our efforts to build this house for you will be successful in accordance with your will. May our every action enhance the strength of our community, the depth of our worship, and the reach of your Word through our service.

May our grateful hearts be open to your Holy Spirit to fill us with yoru wisdom as we now carry out your call to serve your people. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
