First Communion Preparation for Children

Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is a two-year process. Generally children begin in Grade 1. Several special workshops for parents and children in the second year of preparation will be held during the school year.

Older Children (above Grade 2) are welcome to begin or continue Sacrament preparation at any grade level. Families will be directly involved in all Sacramental programs.

Baptism for Children Grade 1 and above is called Rite of Christian Initiation. This process is family-centered. Children are expected to attend Religious Education classes according to their grade level. Katherine Coolidge, Initiation Coordinator, will contact each family after Religious Education registration is complete.
