He came to the USA in August, 1992. For nine years since 1996, he went through the priesthood-training program in Saint John Seminary in Camarillo and was ordained priest on June 4, 2005. He earned a BA degree in Philosophy and an M.Div. degree. Fr. Mai arrived in Saint John Fisher Parish in July 2011. His former pastoral assignments were All Souls Church (Alhambra, CA) and Saint Pius X Church (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
